What is a Freelancer?
According to Wikipedia, A freelancer or freelance worker is a term commonly used for a person who is self-employed and is not necessarily committed to a particular employer long-term. Freelance workers are sometimes represented by a company or a temporary agency that resells freelance labor to clients; others work independently or use professional associations or websites to get work. This means that a Freelancer is an independent contractor who helps business owners on their business operation or activities. A Freelancer usually works on a contract basis directly with the clients rather working for a particular employer (job) long term.
How do I start as a Freelancer?
When I quit my job, I started thinking about things that I can do if I will be staying at home. What will happen to my family, my career if I choose to be at home? I've been working for almost several years in a company, in an office environment. Can I really make it as a work at home Mom? What jobs can I do, Where to start, How to start?
